There is great urgency to unite and storm heaven now for our city to be freed from the grave evil of late-term abortions. We invite all people of faith throughout Dallas to take part in 40 Days for Life from September 22 - October 31.
40 Days for Life is an intensive effort designed to raise awareness, save lives, bring healing, and lead our nation to repentance for the sin of abortion through three components:
40 days of prayer and fasting
40 days of peaceful vigil
40 days of community outreach
The first 40 Days for Life campaign was held in Bryan, Texas in the Fall of 2004. Hearing of it and its fruit, Dallas held the second 40 Days for Life campaign in the Winter of 2004, in front of Aaron's late-term abortion center. The Winter 40 Days Vigil was extremely sacrificial -- it was cold and took place over the Christmas season. God honored our sacrifice. Not only did Aaron's late term abortuary close in the Summer of 2008, bringing the number of abortuaries in Dallas from six to five, but, as you drive eastbound on LBJ Freeway between Preston and Hillcrest, you will see that the former facility where so many babies lost their lives has also been leveled to the ground without even a trace.
It is time to hold another 40 Days Vigil, with expectant faith that God will hear and answer our prayers for an end to the killing in these places of death. We are calling on all people of faith, across all denominational lines, to pray and fast for an end to abortion, especially late-term abortions at Southwestern abortuary at 8616 Greenville Ave., Dallas (Northeast corner of Royal Lane and Greenville Avenue), during this next 40 Day campaign.
Will you join us?
This will be a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week campaign at the Southwestern late-term abortuary where babies are being killed through 6 months of pregnancy for any reason. We need churches and groups to sign up to adopt these 24-hour prayer vigil days. The minimum needed is two people praying per hour.
Please help spread the word to others about this critical life-saving prayer effort!
